Q: Can I enroll my child at VRECS any time?
A: Yes. Enrollment at VRECS is ongoing as long as space is available.
Q: Where can I find the enrollment forms?
A: Enrollment forms are given out when you come for a tour of the preschool. Call 201-791-7853 to schedule a tour today! You can also register your child online by clicking on the Register Now! Link.
Q: I was not able to enroll my child because there was no space available. Can I be put on a waiting list?
A: Yes. To place your child’s name on the waiting list simply contact the Director and provide them with your child’s information.
Q: Is there a minimum or maximum number of days per week my child can attend VRECS?
A: VRECS is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Pre-K3 Schedule Options Include:
- 3, 4, and 5 Half days from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- 2, 3, 4, and 5 full days from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Pre-K4 and Transitional Kindergarten Schedule Options Include:
- 5 Half Days from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- 3 Full Days (M, W, F) and 2 Half Days (Tu, Th)
- 5 Full Days 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
You can register your child for Before and/or After Care between 1-5 days a week depending on your needs.
BEFORE CARE runs from 7:00am – 9:00am with options starting at 7:00am and 8:00am
AFTER CARE runs from 3:00pm – 6:30pm with pick-up options at 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
Q: Are meals or snacks provided at VRECS?
(*NOTE: No Bagel or Pizza Days will be offered in the 20-21 school year due to COVID-19 Restrictions)
A: Meals and snacks are not provided at VRECS due to allergy concerns. VRECS offers the option to have your child participate in Bagel Mondays and Pizza Fridays at an additional fee. Each lunch we offer includes a fruit or vegetable and a drink.
Q: Does VRECS have any restrictions on foods I can send in with my child?
A: VRECS is a nut free school. Please provide your child with lunch and snacks that do not contain nuts and are not made in a facility that contains nuts.
Q: Will someone at VRECS administer my child’s medication, if necessary?
A: VRECS staff will only disperse medication for life-threatening conditions. All staff at VRECS are CPR and First Aide Certified and are able to administer Epi-pens as well as Nebulizers.
Q: What is the adult to child ratio at VRECS?
